I flew Cebu Pacific last year, the most uncomfortable flight I can remember. Cramped! I hate to think about being on a long(er) haul A330 with them.

Based on the updated production list, it doesn't seems like the Regional is getting any "new name" to differentiate them, just at the 242t. I.e. The ones for Saudi will be A330-343E

Well, the regional A330 is nothing more than a high density cabin configuration with de-rated engines (i.e. same engine with different software settings).

I am still not sure how they achieve such a high density in an eight-abreast configuration. If galleys or restrooms are 'downstairs', I am interested to see how this is done.
