I expect QR to speed up deliveries. The presently published schedule seems sub-optimal (too much time between deliveries --> a probably difficult fleet management).

Not all 2015 slots have been allocated.
For EK I have: MSN 168, 169, 171, 172, 174, 178, 182 and 184.

I would expect BA to take 3 or 4 frames total in 2015. It's just that MSN numbers haven't yet been assigned to BA#10 onwards.

I think not, it seems that BA is supposed to have all 12 A380s in 2016, and at the start it was said to be 3 per year. There then was an obvious change with 2014 taking 5 frames, and it seemed to me that the following year (2015) would be only 1, with 2016 having the last 3 ones.. Fabien

I have also seen a report where MSN 186, 187, 188, 190, and 191 have been allocated for them as well. That would give them 13 for 2015. AB is pushing hard to have 200 frames delivered by early 2016, with 70 of those to EK. EK specific equipment long lead times seem to be the main thing holding them back.

Any further word on the open 2015 slots being filled?

Any further word on the open 2015 slots being filled? We should draw a lot of information from Airbus' January 13th press conference.

Airbus says to deliver A380s at a rate of almost 30 per year in the next four years.

From what I understand, the Airbus Build Plan is for 30 a/c per years - so their production system - is perfectly synchronized.
