They have very inefficient seating - probably too much premium passengers - too few people ?
Or something else is known ?

Source is story on Flightaware, referring to NZherald where I can’t find it. So far I haven’t found it on Korean accounts/sites either. CEO mentioned isn’t identified, many essential details lacking. My journalistic antenna says 1 source is no source.

I already assumed it was fake news. Retiring a single A380 doesn't make much sense.

I just go this reply from Korean: Dear A380 fanclub, There are no plans at this time. We will notify you through press releases once the specific plans are set. Thank you ^HJ Wonder what they mean with ‘this time’ and ‘once the specific plans are set’. This suggests to me something is going on.

Thank you ^HJ Wonder what they mean with ‘this time’ and ‘once the specific plans are set’. This suggests to me something is going on. Don't read too much into it. 'At this time' is the usual cautious wording of a denial (anything that we deny today might be true to-morrow if we change our mind). 'Once specific plans are set' could have been written 'If any specific plan is set.'
