October 2013: Dassault Aviation delivered it's 500th Falcon 2000 midsize business jet in the year of the 50th anniversary of the factory.

not really a highlight more than the end of supersonic civil transport era: 10 years ago, october 24th were the last flights of 3 BA Concorde from New York to London (Heathrow).

I found a nice video of the landing of the largest aircraft in the world the AN 225. That's a real whalejet, but not for civil transportation only cargo and the only aircraft I knew with six Jet engines. If there exists some Queens of the air (Concorde and B747) than it will be the King.
