Good news (but sad as well), just flew on CIVC and CIVU, both past their prime, these old ladies need to be put out to pasture. It's a shame they can't replace the aging 777's as they are in serious need of some TLC! Here are some photos of a refurbished BA B747 interior.

Something odd going on with British Airways B 747-4s. Normally there are 2 or 3 max at Cardiff at a time, but yesterday alone 3 flew in to join 3 already their 6 in total ! Apparently due to Thanks Giving in the US, reduction in number of required flights, got this via the BA Source website.

Does anyone know what's going on with BA B747-400 G-BYGF ?
It did 2.5 weeks in Cardiff 3-21/01/2018, so a minor check, but when it left on the 21st it went to Stansted and has not flown again yet !
Are they fitting some new equipment ? WiFi for instance ?

Apparently, some major repair work, and can't be done in Cardiff.
BA's own staff are in STN and working on it.
