That's the problem with these old ladies, the clock is ticking, the countdown to retirement is on, will be a sad day but they seem to be having 'maintenance issues' on a regular basis now. BA maintenance issues ? Or just old B747-4's ? That's the general gist of my statement, according to BA Source they are 'Maintenance issues' but in reality the birds are tired and old, they need the green pastures (or in fact the dry desert!)

If you look back at my previous posts you will see that GBNLZ is being stripped at windy cold Kemble UK !

The next BA B747 heading to Cardiff for maintenance or stripping ? I will keep an eye out and see what the crew pick up, and where it goes ? LHR, Kemble or USA

They picked up this young bird, only 22yrs old and back to service after maintenance at Cardiff going to LHR

BA B747 coming out of Cardiff (after Maintain/refurb) to Heathrow, these ferry flights are normally done on a Sat or Sunday when Heathrow is less busy, I wonder if they need a plane back sooner
