based on all the photo's we've been looking at, basically all A35K's at the delivery center have been contractually delivered. just a matter of them flying away now...interesting..lets see if there is a triple delivery day ahead..one can at least hope!!!! How do you know? Final reg doesn’t mean contractual delivery. We’ve observed that with QR frames again and again. Among the four QR frames parked at DC, the first one was showing Final Reg on 22 Oct, and it did not show on October O&D sheet. So final reg don’t mean contractually delivery, at least not for QR.

Usually, final reg is applied at delivery. In the special case you point out to, a last minute snag (whether technical or administrative) must have prevented the legal handover. Strange things happen sometimes : I remember a Boeing aircraft ready to take off to fly away, with its pilots at the flightdeck, stuck on the flight line by some problem.

I do not have any inside info / documented proof if that is really what you'e asking for.

Pleased to see that after three recent deliveries the hold-ups with QR’s -1000s seem to have been resolved. However MSN 313 , a -900 leased from LATAM, still seems to be stored at TLS. Any known reason ?
Thanks
Geoff
