APA is not going to London on April 28. She has been busy doing crew training at Al Ain Airport in the UAE. There's no A380 to London on April 30 either. Which one will do the EY11/12 on April 29 is not clear: maybe APA stays in Abu Dhabi and we'll see the first revenue flight of APB.

Great video clip, but when when I watched it live at home I did not hear the cat meowing Also on the live footage there was a good shot of the mess the wake from the A380 did to the smoke trails !

This is the video from Etihad:
However, it shows APB rehearsing on the 24th, when it was overcast. APA did 4 circuits off coast at 3950 feet and at one time was 2000 feet over 787 A6-BLE, before the latter followed her own route ahead of the A380 formation. Flypast over the pit straight was at 450-500 feet.

Must have been a bit awkward for Sheikh Mohamed to greet an Etihad A380, as he is the co-founder of Emirates.

The EYsource reported on April 27 that APA returned from Singapore after encountering a technical issue in April 25. That would be something. The Etihad A380 doesn't even fly to Singapore. The flight numbers given (EY470/473D) belong to a flight operated by the 787. EYsource's own Jettracker and Flightradar show APA was in London on the 25th and went to New York and Sydney since. So that's a major cock up from EYsource.
