True, and since Australia is not important enough to be considered alone they usually split as "Middle East" and "Asia Pacific", if I recall correctly. However, "Asia" is the geographic term for the entire continent, which is why I still maintain that Airbus' wording is misleading at best. Nonetheless, it is a minor PR lapse, and not worth much fuss about it. I am glad to see VN #1 making progress!

Geography still does not seem to be Airbus PR department's strong suit... Last time I checked, the Arabian peninsula (Qatar!!!) also belonged to Asia. I brought the same subject a while ago because Boeing did the same thing when they delivered their first B788 to Asian carrier (Qatar had its first way before that). Boeing PR release too said it is first Asian and I also questioned that since Qatar in Asia but I think philidor too is the one that corrected me and yes Qatar consider in Middle East as aviation region.
