Busy day for American Airlines and their MD-80's: After operating the very last scheduled service this morning (DFW-ORD) they are flying no less than 14 (could be more) to Roswell today for storage.

According to skyliner www.skyliner-aviation.de/regdb.main?LC=nav4&page=4, there are 25 AA frames going to scrap yard within few days. They all had very long life and served their role very well.

DC-10 (MD-10) N375FE was stored at Victorville a few days ago. Nothing unusual, I know. But just a little detail: This was the oldest -10 flying at nearly 48 (!) years.
