Do we really need a special thread per flight ?
We already have a general "A350 flight tests" thread and a thread devoted to each test airframe.
We have added a special "ELF flights" (don't remember the exact name).
I don't think we need another one. If information is scattered in too many threads, we'll have duplicate posts and no consistency in discussions.

Agreed, although i admire everyones enthusiasm I don't think we need live reports on every test flight... If i want to follow it I will, but most times for my logbook I get from my little assistant provided via a.net... if any MSN flew I wil see it, given that they're using ADS/B or climb above 9000 feet for MLAT, otherwise I have my sources...

I agree that we don't need to see every detail of every test flight with taxi times, take off, direction flown, landing etc. as we can all see that sort of thing elsewhere. ELF's are slightly different though as they are something that Airbus themselves are very proud of and, as such, will post lots of pics and vids to their own website on top of the usual great pics provided by all the spotters around Toulouse. I think it is good to have a separate thread where all those pics, vids and links can be collated and easily accessed. I vote it stays.... but that's just my opinion.

If someone wants to contribute with details then why not, actually we should thank him. It won't hurt and it will be good documentation. If anyone thinks it is too much detail maybe better skip this thread. We have a lot of other great threads. This is my opinion.

Thanks for your input guys! I'd agree with everybody, we might not need to see every step of every flight test, but I think if anyone would like to, he or she would be most welcome to post anything related to any thread... indeed, would be our choice to read or not read it... Also agreeing that maybe 2 threads ELF is little too much, sorry I got thrown away when moving the posts from the main 'flight test' thread, I'll move the ELF2 posts to ELF1 thread and rename the thread

Back on the ground at 4:55 UTC after flying over Belgium, The Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, The UK, back over France, Spain, Portugal, Over the Bay of Biscay before returning to base. Whereas the first ELF was flown with AF cabin crew, this flight was done with LH cabin crew. /photo/1 Airbus has also uploaded more photos of ELF1 on their website www.airbus.com/galleries/photo-gallery/
