Further details of new life of a350-1000 test frames:
Refurbishment of the first one (should be MSN71) will start this summer in France. from a350 production

Is it a good idea to abbreviate the new system to "AED"?
AED can also mean Automated External Defibrillator which I think is part of the cabin first aid and emergency kits.

Is it a good idea to abbreviate the new system to "AED"? AED can also mean Automated External Defibrillator which I think is part of the cabin first aid and emergency kits. the button in the cockpit is labeled as "EMER DESCENT" IIRC, the function can be automatically deployed without pilots
