Looks like one tent on the right is being dismantled. Only 2 are left then, there was a maximum of 6. Msn290 F-WZNI by A380_TLS_A350, on Flickr

Looks like one tent on the right is being dismantled. Only 2 are left then, there was a maximum of 6. I guess this is because the massive space previously occupied by A380 production line now have been used for A350 (and possibly A330) production.
We observed the same with Boeing, once 747 and 777 production line/hall now been used for 787 expansion.

We observed the same with Boeing, once 747 and 777 production line/hall now been used for 787 expansion. Another obvious reason is that the tents were initially set-up to perform rework when necessary, without slowing down assembly work. Now rework has been reduced in huge proportions.

Another obvious reason is that the tents were initially set-up to perform rework when necessary, without slowing down assembly work. Now rework has been reduced in huge proportions. I have another guess what the reason for the tents is/was. We know that the station 20 for the A350 is planned only for engine installation and cockpit. The cabin outfitting should be already done during station 30 during frame assembly. a380.boards.net/thread/1116/a350-final-assembly-reference-threadBased on this plan Airbus likely did not spend in extra S20 stations. They are shared used with the A330. Maybe they planned only a very short time for the A350 in S20, one week or so. But it looks not that this is not really the case in reality and so they need extra space (for the not done outfitting=rework?). I guess one of the reason would be maturity and the more critical ones all the cabin part delivery issues. So I wonder if they get now really rid of the extra "rework" and better integrate outfitting into S30 or if the just have enough space in the A380 halls?
