MSN 6 and 7 will be used on the FRA route. So the 3rd aircraft, MSN9, will be used to start the Singapore route. However, the press release says:
The 3rd aircraft won't arrive before June?

Looking back at various threads, a late May or June delivery makes sense when you consider that MSN7 entered the FAL in early Feb14 (link) with delivery due in late Feb 15 and MSN9 entered the FAL at the beginning of May (link). Looking into QR's choice of A350 destinations, they have wisely selected destinations which are home to Airbus spares centres/satellite stores. www.airbus.com/support/material-logistics/material-sales/

I found the confusion. The 3rd daily will start with a 787 in April and will be upgraded to A350 in June.

There is a rumour going around that Qatar may start an A350 service to Birmingham UK from September this year and that an announcement may come soon. Any corroboration from members?

I might be wrong but it seems to me that QR doesn't fly (yet?) to BHX, could they open a new route directly with A350s?.....

The question should be: why not?

I would expect QR to use the A350 on some of their main existing routes. They may initially have more compelling opportunities than BHX.
