I just saw this tweet from TAP which states After running it through google translate, it says I'm wondering if there are any Portuguese speakers here who can confirm whether TAP is saying that they will receive the aircraft in 2014 or if it is saying that Airbus will start delivering the aircraft in 2014. I already have TAP down as receiving their first aircraft in 2015 however with this, I'm wondering if this has been pushed forward to 2014. Link here

Nice catch Jkkw, thanks! I think it's well translated, seems that TAP will start receiving some A350s from 2014. Fabien

I think we can all agree that a delivery to TAP in 2014 won't happen. It will already be very difficult to deliver the first aircraft to Qatar, and I believe SQ will be second. Three new customers before the end for 2014 is nearly impossible.

Starbucks production list reckons that MSN8 will go to SIA. Quite possible. I have removed the msn's from QR # 3 and 4 and added SQ # 1 as unknown. SQ expects it's first in 2015 now ( source). Just like Starbucks I have read somewhere that "all" 2014 deliveries will be for QR. Also somewhere hidden on the internet, Airbus stated they hope to deliver 3 or 4 A350's in 2014 (sorry, can't find the link anymore...)

hmm so with 3-4 expected in 2014, one would hope they aim to deliver 30-40 frames in 2015? But while i hope there are no more delays i would expect maybe some more small slippages to occur.

Emirates? Didn't think they were getting any in 2014?

He claims 6 for Emirates, sounds a bit optimistic.
There are also zip allocations for Emirates.

Emirates? Didn't think they were getting any in 2014? I personally only thought we would see no more than 3 deliveries this year so I find it interesting to see that they're reporting 6 deliveries including 2 for EK. I think the article you linked in the reply before mine is more accurate and I still think 6 is a bit optimistic. He claims 6 for Emirates, sounds a bit optimistic. There are also zip allocations for Emirates. I still read it as 6 overall, 4xQR and 2xEK. There was just a small typo where he wrote to instead of two What do you mean by zip allocation? MSN allocations? Maybe EK will get some of test frames, any idea how long it will take Airbus to convert them? MSN5 shouldn't take too long but others (especially MSN3) would probably take a while.

(A350-MSN7-QR2) Could the delivery be hoped for this year?.... I doubt that, Toulouse office is closed after December 15. There should be only one A350-delivery this year (MSN6-QR1). a380.boards.net/post/40960/thread
