A Green Planet with North-South Electromagnetic Field Lines. Great idea! Yes, that looks better!

It's mostly software work ain't it? I've been getting some good ideas recently on what I want to try next. Might take a while though...a looooong while.

Yes. And the whole post processing with krpano took weeks to learn as he answered below the flash.

The next days I'll test a device I just bought 2 years ago only because PayPal offered 100 Euro if I buy something in the ebay photo area costing more than 150€. I chose a motorized pano head 340° horizontal and +- 15° vertical. So I paid 68 € but still don't know if that was a good buy

Can you already tell about it? It involves a few trips to the local park and some inspiration by Vivaldi. Gotta try some test runs though to see how good it will turn out to be. I've seen some DIY kits on youtube for as low as 20 bucks.

Smooth movement and vertical also? I'd be pleased to see a link Yesterday I had to "repair" the remote control. Took some time to find out what was wrong (resoldering didn't help) Now that problem is solved - but the weather wasn't nice enough today. There's one tip I'd like to give you (if you do not already know): don't rotate around yourself, rotate the cam around a vertical line through the foremost part of the lens (-> no-prallalax/cardinal/nodal point) that eleminates a lot of problems your software could have.

The latest apple iphoto update includes some "Pano"-mode, where you can make high res panorama pictures along the horizon. Pretty cool feature. You even get a guideline to direct you when you turn the device around you. I use it on my ipad mini. However it's not full 360 degrees I'd say. Or it's just me.

Linie 9, if you have the time, can you re-upload your 360 pics in this thread? In the meantime, here are a couple of shots I took along Toronto's Lake Ontario shoreline: I like to call this "One Ocean, One Continent" twilight_shore by My Flickr, on Flickr And this was taken a few minutes earlier with the sun just about to dip below the horizon. I was standing knee deep in the water for this one. sunset_shore by My Flickr, on Flickr If you look at the South-East corner of the above picture in hi res, you can probably spot a group of dragon boat people paddling across the "ocean".
