Whether or not the purchase was a good investment, in my opinion there is no way this aircraft would be retired in March, right before the season when she is most likely to be leased. She must be parked somewhere between missions, and LDE must be a cheap parking site, which also is close to TLS, an airport where the aircraft may have to go back from time to time.

I would prefer instead of littering the forum with the huge amounts of tweets to put directly a link to the original news with some comment or summary from YOU. That would be 'best', but sometimes we have to settle for 'good enough', which is much better than nothing.

Not bad but a blow to the bulkier NH90 it seems. Not really, in my opinion. Light helicopters perform different tasks for different users.

I wonder, will we see that day when Boeing will pay for customers to clean up the stock just to save the reputation? Well, all existing customers are eager to get their MAXes as soon as possible at the already agreed prices ... It's just that it may not fly yet !

First CRJ-900 in new livery, although without the racoon mask I must say it would have been funny to see the racoon mask on a CRJ ...

What the Leeham story fails to make clear is that the HNA group, which started out as an aviation group; grew into a real estate speculative group still owning stakes in many airlines. A real estate slump left the group in a potentially bankrupt situation, with huge debts and illiquid assets that could only be sold at a major loss.
Some of the airlines may be comparatively easy to sell, if the Chinese government is ready to help by having banks fund the deal(s). The difficult air transport market situation, however, means that the sale(s) may create more losses for the HNA group.
If the airlines were sold, then the rest of the group would likely be liquidated.

It's quite interesting to read that Airbus hasn't given up on reducing reconfiguration costs.

Two comments about the information above. - The projected A220 investment figures fully explain why Bombardier's stake had to be bought off by Airbus - the financial effort was too much for them to share. - In the video posted by Addasih, Faury characterises a new longer A220 variant as a 'likely' development in the future.

Air France confirmed on Feb 20 that two more A380’s will be retired this year. I understand AF owns the A380s it is retiring, as part of the one-off charge they are taking is an impairment charge. Even so, they might make a different choice for the next frames if the highest bid is not the scrapper's.

If you save the photo into your phone you can zoom and see, That’s what i did Is there a place for a thread for tips like this? It's a recurring theme in many internet sites where potential contributors have photos anbd want to post them but don't know how to. I suggest to use the following thread for such discussions. a380.boards.net/thread/920/photo-posting-hosting?page=6
