Didn't we have the same discussion on the old forum? TK should sponsor my favourite club from Amsterdam - those colours would match... ;-) Probably my fault (duh...) that this discussion comes up on this forum for the second time already, the first time was in this thread (I have never been a member on the old forum).

Here's a real fancy livery. Dedicated to bvb09 While I think that the club’s black-yellow colour scheme is probably not the most aesthetic one, at least it distinguishes it from nearly every other team and thus is almost perfect for a football club. I think with ONE additional colour involved with black and yellow, the look still might be OK (for example the current sponsor’s red lettering on the jersey). But regarding the TK aircraft, I absolutely agree with your verdict (“ fancy“) and I even would call it flat-out ugly, mainly because there are too many colours involved that don’t assort well with the black-yellow scheme, including the red winglets and the blue TK lettering and the fact that black-yellow doesn’t even blend in very well with the primarily white fuselage.

to me, these pictures look somewhat weird, perhaps as if digitally altered. The main difference seems to be the width of the aisles, which doesn't really make sense (look how wide the aisle between the C and D seat seems to be at 3-4-3 compared to 3-5-3). Furthermore the seats (especially in the 3-5-3 configuration) don't seem to have identical width. Maybe part of this effect might have to do with the angle, but I'm not convinced that these pictures are for real. I think the 3-4-3 is a bit more zoomed in. You can see the windows in the 3-5-3 are smaller and you can see a bit more of the foreground, especially if you look at the extra window visible on the right. I noticed that as well, but I still think there is something wrong, probably with the 3-4-3 Picture, where in my opinion the aisle is much wider than required. AFAIK the aisles in Economy usually are 17in. Or is that different on (EK's) A380 aircraft (Unfortunately, I have never been on one)?

> LH: D-AIMH last flight was 2 weeks ago, assuming undergoing wing modification. D-AIMH was back in service yesterday, performing DLH728 FRA-PVG

Sweden, Finland, France, Spain, Portugal, Guernsey, Scotland… not bad, but now I’m really getting jealous…
BTW, still curious, did you plan and book all your flights ahead of the trip or do you have some kind of stand-by-option or even something like a BC100 for the World's skies?

and there he goes... still adding to the suspicious facts surrounding him, as according to his flight diary, his flight from MUC is arriving at FRA right now...

~my next flight: 12/03/14 FR1887 LIS-BVA B737-800~
For quite some time now I was wondering what our admin is really doing these days on all those flights, with short transfer times at most airports that don’t even allow to get to the wonderful cities and other spectacular sites nearby, much less spend some time there. Is he trying to get into the Guiness Book Of Records in some aviation-related category or is he working as some kind of airport/airline test person (the latter being in obvious discrepancy to his proposition “only leisure”) or what else is he doing? At least now I detected a very small hint at what might really be going on, as the date of his “next” flight is already two days bygone: he probably is about to test some device allowing him to wander through space and time which most human forum members don’t even dare to dream of…

And here's the old AA... Apart from the somewhat unsuitable tail, this one is definitely my all-time favourite. It's so classic retro style, looks just amazing on such a big aircraft.

Is this the product of some kind of tachograph (Fahrtenschreiber)? Somehow the height calibration doesn't seem to be correct. The difference between the highest and lowest point should be about 80 mtrs? (Low point: definitely in Elbe Tunnel, about 25m below water surface; High Point: probably on Köhlbrand Bridge, about 55 m above water surface)
