It is marked as Turkish Airlines, why should they be in a hurry to repaint? Read the previous posts in the other TK frame thread. So what is your point? MSN 457 has the same colour scheme, as well as MSN471 and 493. None got a fully repaint, just the tail blue and the marking TURKISH AIRLINES.

Would it be helpful to open a thread, Qatar whitetails, for the finished A350-1000, when Airbus cancels the order with the frame being ready and Qatar refusing to take them? Or perhaps a comment in the first post of those frames?

Is it not about time to move this thread to the ITA sub board? When it leaves with ITA callsign as we did with the previously delivered ones. Than this thread should not be under something called white tail. A white tail is a frame, owned by the manufacturer, not having an intended buyer or user. This frame is owned by a leasing company with an intended, named user.

We shouldn't be even thinking of turning our noses up to a customer with 60 Airbus widebodies! Turkish Airlines is still the biggest operator of A330. No other airline does reach 60.

I think the question now is what information does this site want to provide. Is it about production and rollout and delivery of new frames ? Or Providing an upto date fleet listing of which frames are being operating by which airline ? If I wanted the later I would probably look at planespotters.net Well said! And planespotters.net is designed for that purpose, and this side is not (frame based). We all know that some frames will change hands many times during their service years, will we keep moving frames for that purpose? I can see that became very messy. The easiest way is to close the thread for posting at the original owner and copy the information to the new owner keeping it open for posting there. We are not talking about frames having spend a reasonable time at the first owner and than get sold of to a secondary life, we are talking about new frames changing owners, mainly because the old owner went bust or is at least in big trouble,
