LAX is truly an A380 hotspot. Can somebody tell me which airport currently serves the most number of A380 OPERATORS? A list would be nice too.

Currently indeed 5 differents airlines operate the A380 to/out of CDG - NRT - HKG - LAX, and indeed it seems to me also that QTR will send theirs to LHR as well... EDIT: HKG will switch to 6 on 1st May next week when MAS start operating theirs there... Fabien

I would imagine that the double-daily to LAX requires 3 frames?... By 30 mar 2014 BAW should have 5 frames. Fabien It's probably more like 2.5. So given that HKG requires 1.5, they can probably allocate 4 frames to the two routes combined. This still leaves one more frame. Daily LHR-JFK could be done with one frame... At least theoretically, LHR-LAX (twice daily) and LHR-HKG can be done with four frames. The twice daily LHR-LAX service obviously doesn’t work with only two frames as the respective return flights from LAX arrive at LHR almost exactly 24hrs after their original departure from LHR. But if 4 frames each perform the services in the following order, each of them could restart the sequence after 4 days: BA283 LHR1205 – 1510LAX BA282 LAX1745 – 1200+1LHR BA269 LHR1615 – 1915LAX BA268 LAX2130 – 1545+1LHR BA25 LHR1840 - 1720+1HKG BA26 HKG2325 – 0450+1LHR However I don't know how often they need a longer stay at their home base LHR.

LHR has the most flights per day though AFAIK. Obviously DXB has (and probably will have for a long time) the most A380 flights per day, though by only two operators. And even Singapore still has more flights than LHR (by Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Lufthansa and AirFrance).
