Currently indeed 5 differents airlines operate the A380 to/out of CDG - NRT - HKG - LAX, and indeed it seems to me also that QTR will send theirs to LHR as well... EDIT: HKG will switch to 6 on 1st May next week when MAS start operating theirs there... Fabien Are you sure about HKG? I think MAS would bring them to 5 as currently Qantas, Korean, Singapore Airlines and Emirates operate the A380 to HKG. AFAIK China Southern DOES NOT (CAN is only about 150km from HKG). But of course BA and Thai announced to join the party later in 2013 which would bring the total to 7.

LHR has the most flights per day though AFAIK. Obviously DXB has (and probably will have for a long time) the most A380 flights per day, though by only two operators. And even Singapore still has more flights than LHR (by Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Lufthansa and AirFrance). Welcome to our 100th member! Good team choice! All German final? BA will be using London - Manston for crew training. That's a very short hop!

I mixed it up with an article that said, it has the most flights while not being home base for an A380. But that's about to change as well. Thanks for the correction!

BA will be using London - Manston for crew training. Manston - Chateauroux without passengers just as flight deck crew training

From what I understood previously, LHR-LAX was supposed not to be daily (5 times weekly?) from the beginning (15 Oct), with only one frame, then added was a daily LHR-HKG (15 Nov) with 2 frames, I understand now with this article (thanks eastmids13!): ...that BA will start a daily LHR-LAX with MSN095 and MSN121 on 24/09/13 (MSN121 set for delivery on 16 Sept), and then with delivery of MSN124 in October, start of a non-daily LHR-HKG on 22/10/13. Here might be the answer (youtube footage saying delivery of MSN121 in October but it shall be a mistake then): airlineroute.net/2013/07/04/ba-380-update2/According to the flight times BA will need two frames to serve the first 5-weekly LHR-LAX. MSN121 should still then be delivered by mid-Sep. MSN124 will help serve the daily return to HKG, hence delivery would still be by mid-October. Fabien

Greetings everyone!
Would like to share some fantastic news on regards to A380 training flights to FRA. Before I finished worked today I managed to come across with a BA female air crew. As I was having a lovely chat with her for while, I asked whether if she knew anything about the A380 training fights?
Thankfully! God bless the lady, she told me the date's on regards to BA sending the A380 to FRA. She showed me clearly on the piece of paper and confirmed to me the dates.
SO here there details guys!
August the 21st will be operated on flight BA910 August the 22nd will be operated on flight BA902
Can someone please spread this news over Airliners.net, as i don't have a account with them! Cheerio!
Kind Regards
LHR786
