Thanks, I had read the forum for a long time, before taking a decision to join, so virtually, I know everybody:) Was it the cost of joining that put you off ! Entry into service as QR1 to London on Sunday October 11. If I am correct this is the quickest entry into service of all Qatar A380's so far.

Qatar had her first serious technical issue with an A380 on January 14, when APF broke down in Bangkok. The Qatar Source doesn't report any details, except she departed on the 17th. Qatar had a flap issue in 2015 on a flight in London, but so far reliability seems fine. With their A350's and 787's there are issues more frequently

With their A350's and 787's there are issues more frequently They have more issues with APG, it's been without engines for 4 months And APH is just a few fuselage sections in storage
