FL at TLS (2014)

I did, indeed. Did a tour in the morning of the A380 FAL. Well it was looking at three A380 from the top at the back of the hangar and you couldn't actually go on the shopfloor. Sorry I don't know which station this is but it is the one they come to after body join. I remembered which planes were in there in order (seeing them as they were lined up) and whether engines were installed. So first from the small platform was: MSN 173 for BA with no engines installed. Then MSN 171 for EK with engines installed. At the back MSN 172 for EK without engines.

Now to the topic of the thread: At the back of the FL were MSN 2 (the one that was originally intended for a VIP-customer) and MSN 4 (Engine Alliance engines and pink sticker at the back of fuselage). Both frames had tape all over the place and were stored. Then the more intersting ones: MSN 162 for BC still had all engines installed and there was another frame for EK, which MSN I couldn't read.

On the bus back to the visitors center an engine was moved around and it already had the fairing at the front installed and this was in blue and I think it was a Trent 900 and not a GP 7200, so this could mean engine installation for MSN 173 could start soon.
