Everyone here would agree that this is very unlikely It is very surprising, but financial papers are usually well-tipped on deliveries at this time of the year. I don't know where such information comes from, but I suspect deliberate leaks from the manufacturers. That's why this piece of information must at least be taken seriously. Finances seems to get more and more an area of make believe. Frames are delivered and not flown away, but there is no delivery without a technical acceptation by the customer and that includes a customer acceptance flight. Did not happen for frame #50 in 2016.

The only way to reach 50 is to include 2 AerCap and one -1000, if you want them to have at least flown in 2016! What is so special about the -1000? The 359-900, the 320neo, the 321neo were not counted but the -1000 will be the 1st one. Why?

Again #50 might be MSN 5, everthing else has zero chances.

I think there are zero chances to have Msn5 delivered, I think the last time it was in TLS it was flying over to BOD for reword, and that was months ago?...... (or am I confusing frames)?..

MSN 5 is very unlikely, but at least thinkable, maybe the rework is out of Airbus control so the frame had to be transfered. Most likely is of course this news is nonsense. No other frame was at least one time the air.

Most likely is of course this news is nonsense Maybe, but I would not bet on that. Last year, the same news organisation published the exact order and delivery numbers ahead of Airbus' press conference, likely thanks to deliberate leaks that were part of Airbus' communication strategy.

Rumor is rumor, and the one problem of rumor is that is a kind of "Stille Post"/Chinese Whispers (right english?). So maybe it is not intentional wrong, but the result of a chain of misunderstanding.
Any speculation what #50 might be is very welcome😉 (as long as it is not MSN 59😂)

Another source, newspaper La Tribune says Airbus delivered only 49 A350 in 2016 but make a delivery record of 111 aircrafts delivered in december!
