Most of the Paris Airshow were MoUs .... we have to wait and hope they all get firmed.
Probably the Chinese GTA will be in July xls.
As of JUL 1 2015 we have 1315 A320 family unfilled orders. It looks like slightly overbooked but can we have a look at it ?
The structure is : A319 24 A320 784 A321 507

Baroque - I do not believe so - see the reasoning in A350 SQ thread

No, the press release makes it clear that IAG has firmed existing options. As options come with their own pre-agreed slots, most probably this has nothing to do with the SQ A350 order cancellation.

But it could allow IAG to get the replacement planes earlier, BA are having problems with their oldest B747s and B777s, which are becoming to costly / to complex / not worth overhauling, hence the activity at Cardiff and Kemble ! Edit - sorry I meant B767s not B777s - BUT their oldest B777s are over 20yrs old as well, so the same problem is looming with them !

How ever in the statement made by IAG - all those new 350/330 orders are for Iberia i.e. no change to the original BA timeline. I believe that the 767/772/744 they will replace are bound to 787-8 + 787-9 18x351 they have on order so no new timing...... For whom are those 320neo was not said so those can be for any airline in the portfolio - hard to guess all use it.

The A320s are probably for BA, they have just leased about 10 second hand A320s from GECAS and Aircap, so these could replace them ?

I just read in an article that Iran wants to buy aircrafts worth 20billion split between Airbus and Boeing (German newschannel n-tv). Could this be A350s or maybe even some A380s?
