Those 23 minutes were not lost. While Linie 9's pictures are all beautiful as usual, for some reason I like his second batch of pictures more than the first one. Why ? I don't really know, maybe it's the different sky ...

That's very interesting, philidor! Because there are really some differences - not only that there was more light on the second go: different lenses Pentax DA* 60-250 vs Sigma 50-500 (and 1kg vs 2kg just tested them on the same motive) hand held vs tripod combined with ISO 400 vs 200 f 7.1 1/400s vs f9 1/200s and AF fine adjust (new body): +2 vs -10 (should even be -12 but is not possible) the Bigma needs adjustment by Sigma
