Would there be a reason for that?...... with the current flows MSN192 can easily roll out from OF by end/Aug early/Sep, on time for delivery in October to help start the MIA service 25/10...(not even couting the BA-record of 9w for OF)...... what could be happening?.....

I wish I could answer your question FabienA380. That was the only information I received from BA, reason is still unknown. I mean it does make sense about MIA service. I actually thought it would be delivered around September or early October to run the MIA service which is set to start from 25th October 2015. Who knows, BA might delay there service however bearing in mind they will be taking the first delivery 787-9 this September. Maybe it could affect that? I don't know..

Small theory: BA is introducing a new first class on the B789 in September. Perhaps they are waiting to see what people think of it and whether to install it on the A380. This would delay outfitting times such that CFF could not be completed before end September/start October >> November delivery.

... Or could it be a knock-on effect of the Zodiac trouble ? I don't remember which supplier BA is using.

The lead time for these seats are so long that that a decision on what seats to installed on a A380 being delivered this fall probably already has been made
