Huge Delta widebody order on horizon: "The talks cover both A350 and A330neo twin-aisle jets, said the people, who asked not to be identified discussing confidential negotiations. An agreement isn’t assured, they cautioned. A potential order could total dozens of planes, as Delta works to replace a combined fleet of more than 100 older A330 and Boeing Co. 767 models, one of the people said. The airline has also said it could replace Boeing 767s — some of the oldest aircraft in its fleet — with A330neos, noting the improved unit costs. " Currently Delta has 45 767-300(ER) (delivered from 1990 to 2000) and 21 767-400 (delivered from 2000 to 2002), 21 older a330-300 (delivered from 2003 to 2007) and 11 a330-200 (delivered in 2004 and 2006).
