Hard would be to differenciate between minor and major incidents, unless looking at fatalities or not.... I think it might be uncomfortable to create a fatality-thread though.....

Nice descriptions here: avherald.com/h?article=48546eb6&opt=0Kudos to the pilots - no injuries in that situation ! Obviously all the damage seen on the photo was from the first landing attempt.

With that much of damage to the wing, it's quite relieving to see that there was no fuel leak and fire! This is the 5th serious incident involving the A320 in about as many months. But I must say, leaving aside the Germanwings crash that can't be helped, each of the other incidents show how structurally rugged the A320's construction is.

Or just imagine if the wing could not generate enough lift anymore.

After such a horrible first "mishap" it is real wonder that nothing substantial (like wing fail, gas flames....) did happen.

After such a horrible first "mishap" it is real wonder that nothing substantial (like wing fail, gas flames....) did happen. I know a couple of instances where aircraft with a crippled wing on fuel fire managed to land safely. The DHL A300 which was struck by a SAM over Baghdad was one of the remarkable feats of aviation. A whole chunk of the wing was ripped off, lost all hydraulics with that and the pilots only could control the airplane using thrust. At least in the case of the TK incident the pilots were able to keep the aircraft in way better control. A testament to redundancy and modern technology.
