anyone has any additional insight on the options CI still has ? last thing I was aware of is this interview they mentioned they are interested in A35K

too bad it didn't say when it will be expired ..... kinda curious whether they will take those options as StarLux (future competitor) just signed MoU for 17 A350 decision will certainly be interesting

Originally the options were to expire at the end of 2017. Then the last I heard was 2018, but when? Considering the A350 is in demand for routes like ONT and even LAX for a 2nd flight out in the afternoon which is usually more quiet.Pretty much all current long hual destinations would benefit from an A350. I am pretty certain (95% certain) that they will not order the B777-9 as they don't need larger aircraft. I suspect Airbus has given them an extension on the options as discussions continue and may well extend again.
