They get checked, the engines in an (ER), they can also check the thrust reversers as long as they chock it properly

Pretty unusual that it hasn't flow so far... nearly every other production A350 did its First Flight the day after the RTO. It happened before, on a Finnair A350 I believe. Not something to worry about, IMO.
