Is it true SriLankan Airlines to take delivery of four A321neos on lease in 2017? I saw on ATDB

Do you know the MSNs of the A320neos / A321neos due to be delivered to UL? I think 2 A321neos are going to be leased from Aercap and remaining 2 A321neos going to leased from ALC. Any idea which lessor supplying the six A320neos to SriLankan?

I don't think so. Route proving is normally done at the end of the test campaign (schedule for Q4 2016) and is usually done with a customer frame.

I don't think so. Route proving is normally done at the end of the test campaign (schedule for Q4 2016) and is usually done with a customer frame. It was done with a test frame for the A320-251n. D-AVXA is a frame to be sold after testing. There are 600 hours planed for the A321. It should be about 300 hours for each. Route proofing takes a lot of hours and D-AVXA has done about 175 hours already. Not everything done with the A320 has to repeated for the A321.

As A321neo certification is planned for the end of the year, it is just way too soon for route proving tests. The A320neo went to XFW several times too, long before route proving started.

Aren't Airbus' route proving flights usually much longer than only intra-Europe?........
