Yesterday MSN 208 6th flight approaching XFW rwy 23 - 2016.04.06 seen from HAM arriving XFW she was going back on the runway to do some tests, twice (because of other flights) entering again: and finally a well placed sunbeam

Thank you stelthmanbob! I made a lot of A380-shots at HAM, but this one was about 2.5 km down HAM's rwy 23, the distance between both runways is about 2 km. This first pic was made with the 50-500mm SIGMA which does not fit perfect to the sensor layer of the last two bodies (the focus-fine tunig stops a -10 but -12 would be perfect) - I just wanted to try again because my brilliant Zoom DA* 60-250 ends at 250mm. I'm not satisfied. I‘ll wait until the Pentax K1 is available - full frame...

Thank you too, philidor! The secret is that the gear is still not deployed and the nose is up - much more than usual. I really thought she would go around! My favourite is the last pic with the sunbeam. It's only the second catch of this sort. The first one was Korean Air #1 with the black background north of the Elbe. More than 50,000 downloads from Korea

Wonderful shots indeed Linie 9!! I like the 1st one because it is some kind of crystal clear picture, impressive!! Nice rending made of a clear and even beautiful grey. Wonderful #2 #3 #4, very nice picture #5 with the Tail on the left, would you happen to know by any chance which frame it is? Very clear and interesting crop #6, and I do like #7 a lot too, beautiful colours with the grey skies

Thank you, Linie 9 ! I did see that great picture of yours (and I did like it !). There was a difference - a much darker sky.
