BA holds 9 additional options. Is it not 7 options left for BA ? Which I don't think they will take. Shame, thought they would use these to replace the run out of the 747's, or are they looking to replace with the smaller 787-9 and 350-9?

BA have 3 more A380s to be delivered, they should replace three more of the oldest / highest hours B747s. The other BA B747s are not that old, mostly 17-20 years old. Quite a few years left for them, and BA have been selectively refurbishing the best of the older frames at Cardiff while retiring the bad ones.

So the RR engine -841s do not need two stage roll out, only ER -861s do. Another 10 more EK frames to suffer from this ER problem this year.

There would still be one roll out in one stage (hangar=>flight line), EK frames only seem now to change hangar to free up a bay FALstage2, and wait for engines..
