MSN216 is the ever fastest EK frame, with 34 weeks and 1 day from convoy arrival to delivery..... Last fastest EK frame was MSN116 with 35 weeks and 1 day....

So, maybe MSN 216 was not expected to overtake MSN 214, Airbus just happened to break a record ...

Emirates expected to get two A380 in June, perhaps there are some problems with MSN214. Both MSN213 and MSN216 were delivered in June... Exactly, perhaps MSN216 was pushed because for some reason MSN214 could not make it.
