Still negligible difference! Not really, as it will add cost. A delay will in some way or another give an airline increased cost, and it may also mean a flight is cancelled. Let us say an airline has 100.000 annual flights. A dispatch reliabilty of 99%, will mean 1000 flights are delayed (or cancelled) due to technical issues. With a dispatch reliability of 99,9%, this is reduced to 100 flight. This difference of 900 flights can potentially lead to a decent cost saving for the airline
