www.skyliner-aviation.de/Airbus A320-271N MSN9075 N927NK Spirit Airlines delivery 13mar20 SBD-DTW after storage ex F-WXAY delivered on the 19th of October 2019 and than stored. So it is rather Spirit taking it in use.

So it is rather Spirit taking it in use. I still have the Airbus O+D sheets from last year. There were no deliveries to Spirit on October 19, 2019. In fact there were no deliveries at all on October 19, 2019.

What I can trace back is: Msn 9075 was contractually delivered on Jul 30, 2019 to AerCap but remained with Airbus Industrie (likely AFS Airbus Financial Services) as F-WXAY. Ferried to San Bernardino via Goose Bay for storage on Oct 15 - 16, 2019 by Airbus as AIB9075. Registered as N927NK on Mar 11, 2020 to Wilmington Trust Co Trustee. Ferried to DTW on delivery to Spirit Airlines on lease from AerCap on Mar 13, 2020. I will let anybody decide for themselves what date they see as the delivery-date/flight.

Usually we take the date of the delivery flight when the frame leaves the airport were the FAL is situated, excluding flights to an airport were additional work is done like painting. The original Airbus registration for this frame is F-WWDD. I assume Airbus has the July date and change of registry to F-WXAY as the delivery date to AerCap. Here on this site we usually use the delivery flight, at least I have them registered that way here. If somebody wants to change that we can discuss it.
