Is their a special reason that Spirit has so many rather old frames MSN7757, 7788, 7851, 8038, 8275 either delivered but stored, or not delivered? A summary of the information you can find in this thread. The frames are Tianjin NTUs. Spirit says it will take only 2 this year (already done, but not flown out). Frames are ordered by Aercap. Spirit will take 14 next year. aviationweek.com/commercial-aviation/spirit-airlines-plans-resume-accepting-a320neos-yearSo it looks like that Spirit do not want to integrate them now but will start next year in a steady flow.

I know the history, but it is quite a while ago that they were moved over to Spirit, painted and ready to go. It is nearly two years ago that a frame was delivered to Spirit.
According to that article we would see 2 go this year.

But as long as they are contractually delivered, flying them out or not doesn't really matter to Airbus.

MSN7788, 7851 and 8038 should still be on Airbus books, but I could be wrong.

I meant *some* of them are contractually delivered. 8038 just did its first flight couple of days ago, so Airbus might try to deliver more than 2 to Spirit this year.
