Is it true? Even they painted the tail in white? Is UL not taking MSN52?

Yes it's true. The SriLankan deal is off. Airplane will be delivered in white livery to the lessor.

I don't think they UL will be taking any, well not the first three, no money and no government money either Yet, you don't need a lot of money upfront to lease an aircraft - what you need is the ability to fly it profitably. I suppose some people in decision-making positions have doubts about UL and the A350.

O I don't think they UL will be taking any, well not the first three, no money and no government money either Yet, you don't need a lot of money upfront to lease an aircraft - what you need is the ability to fly it profitably. I suppose some people in decision-making positions have doubts about UL and the A350. According to Reuters, UL had cancelled the four of the direct orders for A350 two months ago. One of four leased A350 were sub-leased to a leasing company. I think the airframe that going to be sub-leased to a leasing company is MSN52. If I'm not mistaken Still UL havn't found the buyer for rest of the three A350 coming on lease. According to UL sources, UL may take the MSN55, 60 & 171. Lets wait & see.

If you don't take 52 why would you then take 55 and 60 which will be only 1-2 months behind 52 !
