Either way, as long as it keeps the assembly line swinging. Actually it takes full 50% of it so it might be enough with some other additions to keep it running

And I though China Eastern's livery was boring! The Dreamliner logo is the cherry on the cake

This is a nice and precious order for Boeing (more 787 orders are wanted !), quickly following the previously agreed MoU.
It should soon be firmed soon, but it is not yet, probably because government approval is missing (the release states : "the order will be posted on Boeing's orders & deliveries website once all contingencies are cleared"). So, I wonder what exactly justifies the inclusion of this order in the air show results. It seems to be window-dressing from Boeing.

Strange to count the 747-8F as 20. Nothing is new about this 20, 4 are already delivered and the 16 left are not a firmed order but still only an agreement, so I would count 0 as order in Farnborough.

Well there is more which should be count as O - all those previously ordered as unidentified - all that did happen there was announcement of who it is. So proper new orders in the books are TUI 10x MAX8 + 1x 789 ALC 3x MAX8 Ruili 6x789
And that is all - 20 pcs !
We might consider the MoUs - since they will be probably firmed later Xiamen 20x MAX200 Donghai 25x MAX8 + 5x 789 Kunming 10 MAX7 ? China - 30x 737 whatever It is 90 pcs.
I just wonder what will be the orders AB/BO after the july xls/web summary.

Another strange point is the status of the Ruili Airlines order for 6 789s. Boeing's Farnborough press release stated : "the order will be posted on Boeing's orders & deliveries website once all contingencies are cleared". It is already posted, so we are left to wonder which kind of contingency deserved to be mentioned two days ago, yet has already been cleared.
