Thanks - interesting. Obviously there was no other possibility than to move more onto the ships with the ramp-up. More belugas can not be built - the stupid bureaucracy with the number 5 limit.... I presume that all the tooling for building A300/310s has been scrapped by now as the last one built was nearly 9 years ago ? Although they might have been able to modify an existing frame ?

Is it something about not having to go thru full certification if 5 frames or less ? I think you are right, if fewer than five copies are built, then you don't need type certification, the frames can be individually certified without any reference to a type.

And the full certification costs is not far from 1bn......

Saturday work as well, two in the air now one going to get more wings, those wings fly out of the Broughton factory
