At least good it is a SWAP not a cancellation. Has it been confirmed?

Hello, has anyone heard of this? AerCap says on its website it has 29 A350s on order I thought that they ordered 20, never heard of 29... www.aercap.com/fleet

Hello, has anyone heard of this? AerCap says on its website it has 29 A350s on order I thought that they ordered 20, never heard of 29... Either AerCap very recently topped up its order, or one customer with a direct order from Airbus changed its plans and came to an agreement with that lessor, which we could dub a pre-delivery sales-and-lease-back agreement, or a order-transfer-and-lease-back agreement. EDIT : the latter is correct, according to kronus' following post.

Explanation of number 29 (orders from aercap for a359) is simple: 20 orders Aercap takeover from ILFC (who was acquired in 2014 by Aercap) + 9 orders from transaction sale and lease back between Aercap and TAM (after delivery 9 a359 to TAM all this aircraft will be Aercap owned and leased to TAM)

Not really an order, but worth to mention:
