It seems that the A380s used on EK51 are LR frames (517 seats) indeed and the 77Ws used were 3-class 310 seat (according to link) ones. So the difference would be 207 seats per day (one-way), 1449 seats per week! Fabien

Ohh hmm I can't remember what I did, thanks airny!... So 3-class 77Ws at 8+42+310=360, a difference of 157 seats per day (one-way), so 1099 seats per week! Fabien

No problem FabienA380, By the way, our numbers still differ. Reason is that seatguru indicates that the Emirates A380 in LR version has 497 seats (which I used), whereas planespotters (and you) indicate 517 seats. I guess the latter one is correct. Meaning your calculation of 1,099 seats/week must be the right one. Happy that we finally settled this! Airny

Considering the fact that you need 2 tickets if you want to go from Dubai to Munich and back, they count as 2 seats, so it should be 2198.

On the other hand, the article said 1,800 seats/week which is still a different number...

If you calculate with a 489 seat A380 and a 360 seat 77W, you get 1806 more seats per week.
