coincidence? An effective brand building strategy for a global airline. I think What cargobull meant, since EK is the sponsor of Real Madrid, it would have had more sense to start the A380 to Madrid first instead of Barcelona.

That might seem to be consistent, but it does not really work that way ... EK and QR are only interested in large TV audiences becoming familiar with their respective brands. That's what they pay for.
