Looks really that RO w/o engines is EA specific.

I understand it's a supply issue at GE, the 747-8i too emerges from FAL without engines.

I understand it's a supply issue at GE, the 747-8i too emerges from FAL without engines. I would have guessed there was an Engine alliance plan to ramp down GP 7200 production after losing the EK market. |
