The Singapore air show eventually has turned out to be very important this year, with a quasi-announcement of an A350-1100, a large CSeries order, a hint at a new A380 customer and a few other new orders !

Some nice pictures there, one question why do they send a C 17 and F22s to a trade show when they are not being made any more

Nice pictures indeed, thanks limoncello! Could Airbus/Boeing have brought the A320neo/B737-8MAX too?.....

Didn't Airbus only say to think about it and decide later this year about it? I can't see a clear pro decision yet.

In my opinion, JL's teasing wording strongly suggests that Airbus is likely to have something positive to announce in Farnborough. I was surprised since I believed that the -1000 would be large enough.

It would be a regional A350 with limited range and high capacity eating into A330neo terrain.
Might work in Asia but if MTOM isn't increased it will be some specialized version only for very limited markets. The 737-900ER of the A350's sort of.

As mentioned in other threads I was able to attend this year's Singapore Airshow, going on one of the trade day as well as the public days. There were practically no commercial aircraft on the public days although there were quite a few on the trade days including 2 A350s, the C Series and SSJ (There was also a Scoot 787 and QR A380 earlier in the week by they had left by the time I got there). I'll be uploading pics here over the next week or two starting with pics from the flying display. As I share the pics here, I'll also be uploading a few more in the following album www.flickr.com/photos/82999179@N04/albums/72157665172187371The below pics are of the Black Eagles, an aerobatic team from the Republic of Korea Air Force using Korean made T-50s.
