Normally the callsign for the next flight should be AIB07FI. ... No idea if we can say that the next flight is an CAF. I have no idea of the callsign that would be used in such a particular case, but it can still be a CAF since some work has been performed on the aircraft post-delivery by Airbus, which should be checked by the customer.

There's unconfirmed rumour saying that Sichuan's A350 EIS is delayed bacause of a delay of getting their certification of A350 from CAAC. Also 737 MAX for China could be also delayed for the same reason.
The speculation is China tryna force Europe and US for EASA and FAA certifications repectively for C919 in exchange of China's approval to introduce new types of A350 and 737 MAX and so on.

CAAC taking a lot of time to certify new types is not surprising. EASA or FAA certifications are not acknowledged, so CAAC acts as if it was making the assesment from scratch. Certification is coming, but first CAAC wants to show the airlines who is in the driving seat.

Obviously this has nothing to do with this frame, and all Sichuan frames, which need CAAC approval in the mainland.

So one part of China has certified the A350 but the rest not. That's called self-government.

But Hong Kong carriers as well as Taiwanese carriers never have nothing to do with CAAC. The decisions to start new routes and purchase aircrafts are not subject to the control of Chinese government at all.
