We should keep this thread because Norwegian is an operator, not just a lessor. I don't think Norwegian (Air Shuttle) or (Long Haul) or (U.K.) or (Ireland) .......... are going to operate the A320neo ? Maybe they will with the A321neo ?

The sale is obviously part of Norwegian's cash conservation efforts.
I'm struggling to understand the meaning of the text : if the aircraft is still to be delivered, it's not really surprising that she is not presently in operation ...

The 5 aircraft are in operations with HK Express. But contractual delivery from Norwegian to the new owner is yet to happen

I still don't understand, I must be getting thick ! If HK Express took delivery from a lessor, the aircraft can certainly be sold whenever the buyer and seller agree, but why does the tweet say the aircraft will be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2018, and are not currently being operated ?

Bad translation? The frames are in use at HK express and delivery could mean change of ownership.
