Fantastic pictures as always Linie 9 , I definately agree with Baroque, the detail in that last high resolution image is fantastic! Noticed it for the first time, does anyone know what that small 'window' is at the lower part of the letter 'S'? It's not a window but rather a light to illuminate the leading edge of the wing . I've taken the following from Airbus's Airport planning documents available on their website

Thanks Jkkw for annotated explanation. I may have noticed those 'white patches' in some pictures but passed them off as reflections or artifacts of the photo. Learned something new today.

Can you see the leading edge from the cockpit or would the pilots go inside the cabin to check for icing?
