A350-1000 | MSN88 Qatar Airways #1 | Test registration | F-WZNR | Registration | A7-ANA | Roll Out (TLS) | November 23, 2017 | First flight | December 7, 2017 (AIB01NR) - (#4 to fly) | Flight Test | December 14, 2017 (AIB02NR) | Flight Test | December 20, 2017 (AIB03NR) | Flight Test | January 25, 2018 (AIB04NR) | Flight Test | January 29, 2018 (AIB05NR) | CAF | February 5, 2018 (AIB06NR) | CAF | February 13, 2018 (AIB07NR) | CAF | February 13, 2018 (AIB08NR) | CAF | February 13, 2018 (AIB09NR) | Delivered | February 16, 2018 | Delivery flight | February 21, 2018 (#1 delivered) - QTR3351 TLS-DOH |
--------------------------------------------------------------------- If we should follow the planned production list, MSN88, the first customer A350-1000, should enter FAL in TLS towards the end of August. Anyone knows if this will be built out of sequence, i.e. "delayed"? Consider the -1000 won't be sertified untill at least a year, I cannot see any point for Airbus start assemble this now? Even if it is a QR aircraft......

It may be assembled in sequence, like MSN 75.
Delivery is due in July 2017. Given the long lead time on QR frames, it may be wise to start on time. Or maybe this frame will be used for several route proving flights?

It didn't seem delayed when I saw it at pre-Assembly in XFW in July

Looking at the prdoction list status, it seems like MSN88 is built out of sequence?

Airbus certainly wants to be sure to deliver the aircraft on time.

Airbus certainly wants to be sure to deliver the aircraft on time. Airbus wants - there is no doubt - but do we believe QR will take it without delays ? My personal believe (I do hope not to be right) is: "I do not !"

MSN 88 went smoothly through Station 40 and now arrived at Station 30.
